Since 2022 I have reviewed dozens of theatrical productions for the Utah Theatre Bloggers Association. My contributions to UTBA include interviews, book reviews, and critiques of live and digital productions. I currently serve as VP with responsibilities for editing and scheduling reviews. I am also a member of the American Theatre Critics Association (ATCA) as of October, 2023

My MFA Thesis explored some of the myriad factors taken into account when casting students of any age in theatrical productions in school, university or educational thaetre programs at local theatre companies. The aim is to unearth student-centered directing practices in educational theatre. The thesis is also pending submission as a book.
In 2016 I adapted the book "The King and the Magician" by Jorge Bucay into a one-act play for my directing capstone at BYU. The play is under submission to Pioneer Drama under a new title "The Queen and the Magician" but is waiting international rights release for publication. A filmed cutting is here.
